with tattoos… meaning and significance is everything. i would never stamp something on my body that didn’t mean the world and a half to me. a lot of you were asking what the meaning behind my two new tattoos were… so i decided to create a blog to explain. the meaning is nothing too elaborate. many figured it was a date, but that would have been too obvious.
my parents are my everything. i have my father to thank for my voice, compassion, my faith, and heart… and my mother to thank for my eyes, strength, spontaneity, and appreciation of the simple things in life. my mother’s name is lisa and my father’s name is george. L and G are the 7th and 12th letters of the alphabet. anyone could have gotten an L and a G but i wanted to do something a little bit different while keeping the same meaning and boldness. the numbers sit on both of my arms…separate, but equally apart of me.
i tour and travel constantly and the hardest part of doing so is the lack of time i get to spend with my family. my brothers and sisters are growing up without me around and i miss my parents more than i could describe or explain in a blog. however, i can now find comfort in the fact that no matter how many miles away i am from home, they are still right there with me along for the crazy ride and to remind me of the beautiful places i have come from.
